Frequently asked

Do I have to file US taxes if I live abroad full-time?
Yes. US citizens and green card holders must file every year regardless of where they live. The FEIE excludes up to $126,500/year (2026) of foreign-earned income.
What is FBAR and do I need to file it?
FBAR (FinCEN 114) reports foreign bank accounts. If your aggregate foreign account balance exceeds $10,000 at any point in the year, you must file. Penalties are severe for non-filing.
