Slowmadly is a research project documenting the countries and cities that welcome long-stay travelers in 2026. We track digital nomad visas, cost of living, internet speed, safety and weather to help you pick a basecamp that fits the way you actually work.

We focus on slow travel: 1 to 12 months in one place instead of 3 days in ten cities. The data is reviewed quarterly. The guides are written without recycling press releases.
