What does "lifetime deal" actually mean on AppSumo?

You pay once, and you keep access to the product (at the tier you bought) for as long as the vendor operates it. There are no recurring fees on that tier. Updates and new features in your tier are usually included, while new add-on tiers can be optional.

What are AppSumo tiers and codes?
